Heather is the owner of Stephen Alan Salon and has been in the salon industry since 1996. She was a National Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems for six years. During that time she traveled teaching stylist’s new trends and creative hair techniques. She has had amazing opportunities to work on stage with top hairstylists at many hair shows all over the United States. The salon industry is her passion! She keeps herself and her staff updated on every hair trend by continuing her training monthly so that she is always up to date on everything! “All of my staff have a passion you won’t find anywhere else. Sarah Allen is Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of FNBC Bank & Trust in Yorkville – a position she has held for the last four years. As Branch Manager, Ms. Allen oversees a diverse group of incredible women, who inspire and encourage each other every day. In the spring of 2019, they were recognized as one of the best banks in the area in Best of the Fox. Ms. Allen also serves as President of Board of Directors of the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Judson University and her Master’s Degree from Northern Illinois University.
Darren Fox is the Founder and President of Idea Marketing Group. Darren has a rare blend of creative abilities mixed with strategic, forward thinking to develop brands and cultivate growth. He founded Idea in 2009, the marketing agency specializes in award winning web development and online marketing services to clients all over the world. With a proven ability to hire, train, and lead teams, he can work with other businesses to share his advice on the entrepreneur experience and how to position organizations in competitive markets for growth.
Marcia was recently promoted to President of Aurora Specialty Textiles Group, Inc. She has been with Aurora for almost 14 years and progressed from Director of R&D to President. She has been in manufacturing her entire career working in various industries, including textiles, carbon materials, coatings and nuclear energy. She supports efforts to get young people interested in manufacturing careers, as well as to keep manufacturing in the USA. She is a recently added board member on the Valley Industrial Association, an association that supports manufacturers in the Fox Valley. She has a MBA and Masters in Chemical Engineering.
