Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce – Statement Regarding Coronavirus

At this time, all events remain scheduled as planned; however, upcoming activities will continue to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, with guidance of the public health professionals who are monitoring this closely.

We advise you to follow recommendations from the US CDC (see link below), including common sense hygiene practices such as hand washing, coughing and sneezing into sleeves, and staying home if not feeling well.

The Chamber encourages you to educate yourself by getting facts from credible resources such as these:

CDC: Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers

To help combat the spread of COVID-19 (or other illness, for that matter), the Centers for Disease Control has recommended avoiding handshakes. We encourage you to put your health and the health of others first when determining whether to attend an event. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell and we will see you at the next gathering.
