Artist Series: Make Art like Wassily Kandinsky: 2/29/20
Elementary (Ages 6 – 10)
Wassily Kandinsky is credited as the pioneer of abstract art. In his work, he used bold colors, as well as geometric and organic lines. After looking at images of his work, the students will use rulers and geometric shapes to create an abstract composition. Color was a very important element in his work, and so we will learn how to blend a variety of colors to create new hues and values. $28$28
