Committees

Being actively involved with a committee provides an opportunity to expand your network and build relationships with other members of the business community.

Committees are formed and meet as needed. Here are some committees and networking circles to consider:

Ambassadors

Ambassadors are members who have been actively involved with the Chamber for at least a year, understand the value of Chamber involvement, and have a desire to promote Chamber membership and programs. Ambassadors also serve as mentors to new business members.

Business Women Connect

Area business women in this group meet for the purpose of supporting one another in business, exchanging ideas, and working to enhance the local business community.

Green Connect

Go Green! Meet with like-minded members of the community for education, promotion, and planning of “green” events.

Promotions Committee

Members of this committee share marketing and event ideas and contribute hands-on assistance at certain events.

Special Event Committees

For members who wish to help with planning and execution of major events such as the Golf Outing and Luau.

Golf Outing Committee

This committee focuses on the planning and execution of the Annual Golf Outing.

Scholarship Committee

Members of this committee review scholarship applications of Yorkville High School students based on criteria including characteristics indicative of drive and future success.
