Professionals Advancing in Yorkville (PAY), in connection with the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce, is a group of motivated and energetic professionals that strive to educate and develop our members professionally, civically and personally.
PAY is not a leads group, and is open to members of the Chamber and guests.
Regular Program Dates
Programs are held on the 2nd Friday of the month, from 12pm to 1pm at the Chamber office, located at Old Second National Bank. There is no attendance fee. Reservations are requested but not required.

Speaker: Jason Sterchi
Jason E. Sterchi, DC, CSCS, is a Chiropractor, who has been in private practice in Yorkville since 2008. His background is in Orthopedics and also carries the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification. His clinic emphasizes evidence-based physical medicine involving Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, and Medical Massage Therapy. Dr. Sterchi works with several area Primary Care Physicians, Neurosurgeons, Orthopedists, and other health care practitioners, to help provide patients with care plans incorporating the most current research, to emphasize functional improvements and also teaching prevention with recommended home exercise programs.
Presentation: "Ergonomics in the Workplace"
- The presentation will cover ergonomic recommendations for jobs involving seated/sedentary jobs, physical jobs (labor), and ergonomic considerations with children
- Common conditions associated with poor posture or bad ergonomics
- Considerations for how to stretch and some easy exercises that can help reduce the daily aches and pains felt from your job

Learn about the public access channel run by Fox Valley Television Public Access (FVTV). With production facilities located in Waubonsee Community College, FVTV provides the opportunity for residents and students alike to learn to produce television programs to air in their own communities.
Mike Rennels is the manager of Public Access Programming at Waubonsee Community College. He works with the Southwest Fox Valley Cable and Telecommunications Consortium, of which Yorkville is a member. The consortium oversees Fox Valley Television (FVTV) Public Access. FVTV is a public and government access channel serving the communities of North Aurora, Plano, Sandwich, and Yorkville, Illinois.
