Professionals Advancing in Yorkville (PAY)
In connection with the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce,
PAY is a group of motivated and energetic professionals that strives to
educate and develop our members professionally, civically and personally.
Programs are held from 9-10am at the Chamber office, located at Old Second National Bank. There is no attendance fee. Reservations are requested but not required.
Though we do lead with "30 second commercials" in order to get to know everyone at the table, PAY is not a leads group, and is open to all members of the Chamber and guests.

EXPERT TIPS TO ORGANIZE BUSINESS
Tips and Roundtable Discussion lead by a Panel & Organizational Expert
At the Chamber (Old Second Bank, lower level)
No fee - guests welcome
Breakfast Sponsor: Norwex - Michele Sittig, Sales Leader
About the Speaker: Carin Young, Carin's Systems
Carin has helped reorganize and manage two medical practices while attending college and raising two children and most recently assisted an ownership change of a local business. Still a mother of two young kids, she enjoys the multitasking nature of being a mother and has developed her own systems, through 2 remodels, completed mostly by her and her husband, and 3 moves. A resident of Yorkville, she enjoys being a part of her community, spending time with her children, doing science projects, and gardening. She’s discovered, “Helping the little things stay in order, is the best way to relieve stress and leave room for the important things.” And she can’t wait to help you reach your goals today!
Mission: Our goal, simply put, is to help you meet your goals. By helping you systematically organize the problem areas of your life, whether temporary like a special event or a move, or long term like the constant battle with shoes at your door, we aim to help you develop a personalized system that works for you and your family or your business so that you can focus on the things most important to you.

Testimonial from April 2016 PAY meeting:
"The Pay program was so wonderful to be a part of! Not often do you get the chance to pick the brains of so many other business owners in a non competitive and cooperative atmosphere. I can not think of a more productive way to spend an hour troubleshooting issues that entrepreneurs face. The panel offered focused advice that brought their own experiences and expertise to the discussion. It was an insightful and incredibly helpful experience."

Testimonials from January 2016 PAY meeting:
"Why I like attending PAY?...for days like today! I always enjoy coming to support my chamber as well as gain more insight into the topics being covered. I figured today would be the same, however I walked away with so much more! I truly think certain topics can resonate with you more based on your current situation, and that is exactly what happened today. I know, or thought I knew, all about leads groups… thank you to Sarah and the panel I now know there was much more that I was unaware of. I mostly enjoyed hearing answers to the common misconceptions of leads groups, this is what resonated most with me. I am looking forward to checking a group that is a good fit for me now. Thank you!" -Marisa Hanson, Rodan + Fields
"Having been a member of the YACC and a LEADS group for more than 5 years, I was pleased to find several pointers at today’s PAY program dealing with LEADS groups and networking. I was able to see some interesting ways other YACC LEADS groups handle their meetings; as well as receive some personalized fine tuning of my own 30 second commercial. Getting these fresh perspectives at the beginning of the year will be a great way to ensure we’re off to a great start!" -Sara Fontanez, Fontanez PHOTOGRAPHY
"I received priceless feedback on how to introduce myself at my leads group meeting: to focus on what's really unique about my business and what will leave the most impact on those I share it with. It was super helpful to get advice from the panel and the other attendees who were able to hear my 30-second commercial from an outsider's perspective and tell me what worked and what didn't." -Samantha Brown, Fox River Rendering
