Professionals Advancing in Yorkville (PAY)
In connection with the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce,
PAY is a group of motivated and energetic professionals that strives to
educate and develop our members professionally, civically and personally.
Programs are held from 9-10am at the Chamber office, located at Old Second National Bank. There is no attendance fee. Reservations are requested but not required.
Though we do lead with "30 second commercials" in order to get to know everyone at the table, PAY is not a leads group, and is open to all members of the Chamber and guests.

Social Media Optimization
Leila Samii, Assistant Professor of Digital Marketing and Analytics
Social Media Optimization emphasizes the need to look at data to make strategic decisions on social media. The changes in communication channels have resulted in many organizations needing to evolve their marketing and business strategy.
For every level of social media use, it is vital to understand the factors needed to develop and analyze a social media strategy. Based on the REALLY framework participants will learn the 5 parts: Research, Engage, Analyze, Listen, Leverage and You and how to implement them effectively to optimize social media.
Participants will walk away from the presentation with information to use in their organization that day.

About the Presenter:
Leila Samii is an Assistant Professor at Aurora University in the Masters of Digital Marketing and Analytics Program and adjuncts in Harvard Extension School. She holds a Ph. D. in International Business and Marketing with a focus on Social Media Marketing. With expertise in social media and international business, Leila has extensive knowledge of earned media and has developed various frameworks focusing on cost-effective strategies for social media.
As the owner and managing director of a social media marketing consulting firm, ReallyLeila, LLC, Leila focuses on training small and medium-sized enterprises on aligning their social media goals with their current business objectives. Leila is passionate about social media and teaching others the ins and outs of social media in easy to understand manner. She has managed many projects on creating social media marketing strategies and campaigns.
