A delicious plated lunch is served prior to the program. Cost is $20 for Chamber members/ $25 for non-members. (Guests of members may receive the discounted rate.) Frequent attendees may purchase punch cards for additional savings (details below). Check, cash, or credit card payments may be made in advance or at the door.

"Preparing for an Emergency in your Workplace”

Mike is currently living in Sugar Grove and employed by the Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District as the Division Chief of the Emergency Medical Services Division.

The Division Chief for the Emergency Medical Services Division is responsible for the overall operations of the Emergency Paramedic Service which includes overseeing 9 Lieutenants and 21 Firefighter/Paramedics. He facilitates monthly continuing education to the paramedics and emergency medical technicians as the teaching component of his job. The Emergency Medical Services Division responds to nearly 1,400 calls a year for paramedic service covering 81 square miles which contain the City of Yorkville, Town of Bristol and part of Montgomery.

Mikes formal education includes an Associates Degree of Applied Science from the College of DuPage, a Bachelor’s of Science Fire Management from Southern Illinois University and a graduate from Loyola University Medical Center Para medicine program. Mike has been a Paramedic for over 42 years. Mike recently was awarded the “Earl J. Field Leadership Award” from Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

Mike previously worked for the Lombard Fire Department for 32 years attaining the rank of Battalion Chief/Division Chief. Prior to coming to the Bristol Kendall Fire Department Mike was the Chief of the Homewood Fire Department for a brief amount of time.

    Lunch punch cards are available.  Purchase a card for the cost of 5 luncheons and receive the 6th lunch for free!  Punch cards are transferable but not refundable.  They will expire 18 months from date of issue. Punch cards may be purchased at the luncheons or by contacting the chamber office.
